Dill Pickle Hot Sauce

Dill Pickle Hot Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup dill pickles (chopped)

1/2 cup pickle juice

2-3 jalapeños (seeded for less heat)

1 habanero pepper (optional for extra heat)

2 cloves garlic

1/4 cup white vinegar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients: chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, jalapeños, habanero (if using), garlic, vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, celery seed, black pepper, and salt.

2. Blend until smooth, adjusting the texture by adding a bit more pickle juice if needed.

3. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more honey for sweetness or more peppers for heat, depending on your preference.

4. Pour the sauce into a bottle or jar, seal, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to develop.

5. Shake well before use.
