Chessy Velveeta Rotini with Italian Beef Marinara

Chessy Velveeta Rotini with Italian Beef Marinara
Ingredients:

12 oz rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: chopped parsley or basil for garnish

Directions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the rotini pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain off excess grease.
3. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
4. Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes so the flavors can develop.
5. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until fully melted into a rich, creamy sauce.
6. Add the cooked rotini pasta and toss to coat every twisty piece with the cheesy beef marinara mixture.
7. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top. Cover and let sit for 2–3 minutes until melted, or broil for a golden finish.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired and serve warm.
