Refreshing Strawberry Lemon Mint Lemonade

Ingredients

– 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

– 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)

– ½ cup granulated sugar or honey, or to taste

– 4 cups cold water

– 1 cup sparkling water (optional, for a fizzy finish)

– 10–12 fresh mint leaves

– 1 lemon, thinly sliced

– Ice cubes

Optional Garnishes

– Fresh strawberry halves

– Lemon wheels

– Mint sprigs

– Thin lime slices

Instructions

1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems, and cut them in half.

2. Blend the strawberries until smooth. For a smoother lemonade, strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

3. In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar or honey, and cold water. Stir well until the sweetener has completely dissolved.

4. Gently crush the mint leaves between your fingers to release their natural oils, then add them to the pitcher.

5. Add the lemon slices and plenty of ice cubes.

6. If you prefer a sparkling lemonade, stir in the sparkling water just before serving.

7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

8. Pour into chilled glasses filled with fresh ice.

9. Garnish each glass with a strawberry, a lemon slice, and a sprig of fresh mint.

10. Serve immediately and enjoy this cool, fruity summer refreshment.

Serving Suggestions

Pair this refreshing lemonade with grilled chicken, seafood, fresh salads, sandwiches, fruit platters, brunch dishes, or light desserts. It also makes a beautiful non-alcoholic beverage for picnics, barbecues, baby showers, birthdays, and summer parties.

Storage

Store the lemonade in a covered pitcher or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Stir well before serving, as the fruit may naturally settle. For the freshest taste, add ice and sparkling water only when ready to serve.
