Baked Caesar Chicken Crispy Parmesan Crust
Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
3. Season both sides of the chicken breasts evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine the Caesar dressing with half of the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until well blended.
5. Coat each chicken breast evenly with the Caesar mixture, ensuring all sides are covered.
6. Place the coated chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish, spacing them slightly apart.
7. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken breasts.
8. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, covering each piece completely.
9. Drizzle the melted butter around the base of the chicken in the baking dish.
10. Pour the heavy cream into the dish around the chicken, avoiding pouring directly over the tops.
11. Place the dish in the oven and bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
12. Switch the oven to broil and cook for an additional 2 to 4 minutes, watching carefully, until the top forms a golden, crispy Parmesan crust.
13. Remove the dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
14. Spoon some of the creamy sauce from the bottom of the dish over the chicken.
15. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top before serving.
