Ingredients:
7 cups cake flour
7 teaspoons baking powder
4 eggs
1½ cups sugar
1 cup Ultramel (or any creamy vanilla custard)
1 cup milk
½ cup melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking tray.
In a large bowl, sift together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and creamy.
Add the Ultramel, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Gradually combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients to form a soft dough. Do not overmix.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it down to about 2–3 cm thickness.
Cut into rounds or squares and place onto the prepared tray.
Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
