Home Old-Fashioned Soft and Buttery Yeast Rolls 🥖
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup warm milk
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add melted butter, salt, flour, and egg. Mix until dough forms.
Knead dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Divide dough into 12 rolls and place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
